Ponvelan Cycle Mart, one of the leading Cycle Shop in Madurai, has a rich legacy dating back to 1978. It was founded by Mr. Chandramohan B.A., a visionary who began his journey in the bicycle industry with modest roots. After completing his degree in 1972, Mr. Chandramohan started as a salesman in a cycle shop, earning a humble salary of 150 rupees per month.

Driven by a passion for cycles and inspired by his father, Mr. Arumugam, a bicycle stand and carrier manufacturer, he advanced to a sales representative role, gaining invaluable experience over four years. In 1978, he launched Ponvelan Cycle Mart, initially operating on a small scale. By 1991, Mr. Chandramohan’s dedication and hard work had expanded the business to reach a larger market, solidifying its reputation among Cycle Showroom in Madurai.
